Easy Living? Try thirst.

I told Sonny that for the first time in my life I wish I was filthy, stinking rich. I’d buy and/or hire every helicopter I could and send them to Puerto Rico to deliver water to our fellow citizens. I believe that this is a situation in which no one should have to pay for water and that it’s unconscionable that our government hasn’t already provided that basic necessity to everyone in this disaster. The little island is only 35 miles wide by 100 miles long and only 1150 miles from Florida. Stetson Lawrence just drove Jess from New York City to Bismarck, ND (1625 miles) in 26 hours. These people have been without water for 8 days!

First blog ever!

Scary times!!! My first blog and it’s like jumping off a cliff into a lake but I’ll just grab my nose and leap…

Hot days here in Eastern Montana. Yesterday, Sonny and I walked out of the roughs in 95 degree heat after having a flat tire on the side by side as we made repairs after bulls broke down a gate and damaged the fence.  We would gladly have traded wheeled transport for our horses if we could have.

As we recovered in the afternoon, I started my web site, which I hope leads to building a platform for becoming a published author.  I’ll hope to be more inspirational with future posts.
